Although it isn’t a piece that’s been specifically designed for summit illumination functions, there are cases in which it is used for that purpose, whether it be forcing the geometry of the pieces by opening fanlights (santa ana and valladolid) or rather eliminating the “non structural” wings, as is the case at the la asuncion school.
